[Preview] Ball Drop Countdown: Ringing in the New Year at Decadence Arizona

Decadence “The Portal of Illusions” returns to The Phoenix Raceway this New Year’s Eve for two nights with three stages, never-seen before production and a lineup worthy of worldwide festivals. Relentless Beats keep their momentum as they bring the 11th edition of Decadence to the biggest stage possible- The Phoenix Raceway.

With artists like Fisher, Subtronics and Sara Landry, there will be plenty of variety in any sub-genre of Electronic Dance Music. For the 2025 edition, the organisers are bringing back “The Grand Palace” and “The Royal Ballroom” as stages 1 and 2 respectively and for the first time ever, a third stage curated by Body Language (Relentless Beats house and techno branch) “The Conservatory” will be unveiled.

Some highlights on “The Grand Palace” include Griz with a special NYE Countdown Set. He famously decided to take some time off touring and live shows and it’s been over two years since he’s taken the stage in Arizona. Decadence Arizona will be only his tenth show back from a break, so be ready for something huge. The first night brings the highly anticipated return of Knock2 who’s riding a massive year continuing to top the trap music charts.

Kaskade needs no introduction as he is an artist dancefloors can’t get enough of. With his highly anticipated album “undux” dropping just a few weeks before the festival, you can be sure he’ll deliver a set that’s nothing short of unforgettable. Tape B is another artist that’s been red hot- his unmistakable downtempo and heart-ripping basslines generate such buzz that will have you feeling them long after the festival is over. Tape B, Kaskade and Subtronics play New Year’s Eve, while the likes of Sara Landry, Sammy Virji and Zedd play December 30th.

Diving into “The Royal Ballroom” you’ve got heavy hitters like drum and bass duo Chase & Status, dubstep powerhouses Kai Wachi B2B Sullivan King and tech house wizard Max Styler. Chase & Status come off their sold out 360 show at Warehouse 215 earlier this year and with hits like “Baddadan” and “Liquor & Cigarettes.” We suggest you get to their set early, it will be packed out. Kai Wachi and Sullivan King bring one of the most anticipated bass sets of the festival — this will only be their third time performing back-to-back and Arizona is known for their thirst of dubstep.
