[Preview] Arizona Has Four Days of Relentless Beats for 4th of July

No fourth of July weekend plans yet? No problem, Relentless beats has you covered with four days of music, chances to make new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. Get your weekend started Early with Nora En Pure on Thursday at Sunbar she brings you into a state of pure bliss. This Nora En Pure has a taste for deep house, happy vibes and soothing beats. She has an impressive track record that includes winning the Best Female House Artist award back to back in 2019 and 2020 at the International Dance Music Awards as well as performing at events including Coachella and Tomorrowland. If Thursday isn’t long enough for you to seep in all those house vibes, no worries Nora En Pure will be back for a second day on Friday.

On Friday you’ll have to make the tough call between another night with Nora En Pure at the Sunbar, Moon Boots at Shady Park, or Steve Oaki - SummerSesh 2021 at Rawhide. Moonboots has his roots in some of the oldest noises of which America is known for, Jazz, Funk and Soul. But his sound is anything but old, he takes the flavors of eras bygone and brightens them into a new house jam ripe with synthesizers. This retro-future sound is straight out of a Jazz parlor from the year 2121. Steve Aoki is a classic in the world of dance music and really knows how to bring the energy to his sets. Steve Aoki is perhaps best known for consensually caking the audience, always picking the most enthusiastic person riding the rail. If your trying to have some cake (and eat it too) you’ll want to bring a sign, high energy, and look Steve Aoki straight in the eyes. When he isn’t busy caking people he is busy behind the decks pumping out music that pushes the boundaries of the electronic scene.

On Saturday, you’ll be able to catch me at ARezzona where two of my favorite artists Rezz and G Jones are scheduled to put on one of the most hypnotic shows the year. Rezz is someone that has been on my radar ever since I saw her at Goldrush 2017 where her hypnotic “red” vibes drew me in. There I was captivated by her red visuals and intense, trippy sound. Since then I’ve seen her at the Van Buren, Red Rocks (2018) and most recently at Imagine Music Festival. Each time her performance gets more and more complex and more and more trip-notic. Legend has it that G Jones was born in the thunderstorm when lightning brought the color white to the cold dark sky. Some consider him the god of storms, and if you listen in I think you’ll agree that his music is like severe weather rolling through outer space. If you’re not trying to immerse yourself in hypnotic vibes on Saturday, there are always a couple other shows to check out as well. Christian Martin will be bringing those bird-house vibes to shady park and Deux will be bringing trap and hip-hop vibes to Salt in Glendale and JOYRYDE will be livening up the night at Sunbar.

Finally, on Sunday get down and do things big for the Fourth of July with Destructo at Shady Park. Destructo set out with a mission to play the most gnarly disco known to man and delivers on that to this day. His sound is self described as ‘metal-techno-disco’ and its exactly that, some of the hardest hitting music you’ll find. What better way to celebrate The Fourth, than to blow up the speaker system. Of course, hard hitting beats aren’t for everyone, so if your looking for something a bit softer, give Vintage Culture a try. Vintage Culture is one of Brazil’s best known DJs and have a soft latin-inspired house vibe.
