Don’t walk, run to see the legendary melodic and bass duo Slander at Revel on Halloween Night this October. The Los Angeles-based producers will touch down in the 505 with spooky and powerful support, including Saka and Moody Good for a night of guaranteed bone-rattling bass. Saka was raised in Hong Kong and their website describes their sound as “chaotically destructive; industrial yet organic; oriental yet occidental.” Check out Saka’s EP Monomyth which includes a familiar collaboration of the track “Ghoul” with Of The Trees.
Slander has been touring the world for many years now and they finally return to Albuquerque after a five-year hiatus. The electrifying duo always throws down some of the heaviest stuff in the game and seamlessly blends their iconic melodic sound. Lately, they’ve also been dabbling in other genres such as Drum and Bass and even Techno, with their newest alias Before Dawn attracting a massive crowd at the Rynobus Art Car in 2023 EDC Las Vegas. Meanwhile, the venue Revel has been upping their production game since bringing artists like Diesel, BTSM and Zeds Dead so best believe it will be no different for an artist the caliber of Slander.
