Fridays is glistening with gold with ATliens, Brondo, Ekonovak, Jauz, Kayzo, and more rounding out the day.
Saturday the pay dirt just keeps pouring with a special Chris Lorenzo b2b Wax Motif set. I’m hyped to how the House & Bass vibes of Chris Lorenzo will mix in with the G-House sound flared up with disco and R&B influences that Wax Motif is famous for. An artist that I haven’t seen but I’ve heard a lot of hype about is Dombresky and his house vibes. This French producer first came onto the global radar with his official remix for A-Trak’s “We All Fall Down”. Be sure to check out and follow his twitter if you haven’t already, the guys a clown and be sure to ask about his shirt. I hear its magnum size. Also make sure that you scope out Troyboi, his set is sure to be crowded but because he is not to be missed. Troyboi is a force to be reckoned with, and drips with glitch. His remixes are some of the best in the game, and if you haven’t heard it already, I challenge you to check out his Billie Eilish mashup “Myboi.” And be sure to check him out at the vegas curated shows “Justin Bieber & Friends” on Oct 7-10 where David Guetta is also announced. I’m going to try to make that show, and you should too. The lineup gets more golden with Above & Beyond, Kill the Noise, Kyle Walker, NGHTMRE, Tony Romera, and more making headlines. Tony, you gotta stop with the meat visuals 😉
i just told him mine is bigger than his, and he agreed my shirt is bigger pic.twitter.com/kuw3pY3Muh— Dombresky (@Dombresky) September 10, 2021
Sunday is when I’m going to be hitting a lot of golden nuggets as the lineup is richer than the federal reserve. Autograf, Dabin, Diplo, Mize, and Vintage culture are just the beginning of this deep lineup and if you have overslept on these artists now’s the chance to form memories. Where the real gold is struck for me is catching a Clozee, LSDream, Moore Kismet set in the same night. Each of these artists have a deep sound, each of which has a bit of a different flavor to it. Clozee is deep and earthy with lots of global influences, LSDream is hypnotic with samples that tell a story, and Moore Kismet has a little bit of everything going on, much of their music takes you on a journey through a multitude of dimensions with excellent geographical sound design. Moore Kismet is just getting discovered but they are quickly rising in the ranks, fresh off their first red rocks performance they are crossing off bucket list stages near daily. Lastly, I’m hyped more than anything to see the Zeds Dead b2b Griz set. That set is my most anticipated set yet this year and I’m hoping with it comes new songs, flips, and remixes between the two.
