What better way to celebrate pride month than a collaboration from two of the hottest boys in the business? Griz and Wreckno just released upon the world Medusa, an absolutely grinding banger of a track. Featuring a striking backtrack, and ample break-downs and wind-ups, this song was born to be mixed and mashed up. Watch out world, Medusa is certain to start slaying the clubs… whenever they open. This banger is definitely designed to get the parties slithering and I could see this serpentining its way into billboards top ten. Will this track sneak on the charts while we are holding our own personal kikis at home? Or will this beast of a track reawaken as the world does? Only time can tell when it strikes.
After years of proving himself as one of the kings of electronic saxual-funk Grant has been taking a more collaborative approach and I am all for it. Grant has reimagined his sound numerous times in the past several years by mixing his unique funkcalicious sound with the diverse vibes of artists including Subtronics, Yoshi Flower, and Wiz Khalifa. These collaborations have proven him as an artist that is capable of contributing to any genre and a true Jedi of the midi-deck. Wreckno is still a bit “Uhnkno”wn to many but I predict in the next few years his deep melodic base will blast its way into the mainstream. Boy oh boy, Wreckno has a voice that needs to be heard. It drifts somewhere between singing and rapping with his lyrics slapping to the moon and back. The wonky, wobbly, super future of this star in starting to shine.
Blast Medusa on the speakers and get ready to have one freaky gouda night.
